Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Saygılı, Head of the Department of International Trade and Finance at our faculty, attended the “Business and Design Week” event organized by Sakarya University of Applied Sciences Ferizli Vocational School on May 15, 2026.

As part of the event, our faculty member met with students and sincerely shared his educational journey from vocational school to an academic career. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Saygılı discussed the experiences he gained throughout his education, the challenges he encountered, and the importance of determination during this process. He also made valuable evaluations that would guide students in their career planning. Emphasizing that perseverance, discipline, and goal-oriented work are key factors on the path to success, his speech was followed with great interest by the students.
