The chess tournament organized by the Zero to Summit Entrepreneurship Club at the Faculty of Applied Sciences English Cafe on Monday, March 4, was met with great excitement. Held between 12:00 and 14:00, the event brought together chess enthusiasts.
Demonstrating outstanding performance, Mehmet Furkan Cangül claimed first place, surpassing his competitors to become the champion. At the end of the event, his award was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sinan Esen. Students and staff of the faculty expressed their satisfaction with the tournament’s success and expressed hopes for the continuation of such events that bring together chess enthusiasts.
