Students from Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ) Career and Business World Club had the opportunity to get to know leading companies in the sector through a technical visit to the Kaynarca Furniture Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (KAMOSB). The event began with an informative presentation by KAMOSB Finance and Administrative Affairs Manager, Mr. Mehmet DURAN, providing students with a detailed overview of the industrial zone, while experts answered students’ questions.

During the visit, information was shared about internship opportunities within KAMOSB, allowing students to develop a deeper understanding of the sector. Following the technical tour, students visited the production facilities of prominent companies, Çalışkan Office Furniture and Artı Furniture, where they closely observed furniture manufacturing processes and gained practical insights into the industry.

At the Güney Büro Furniture production facility, the business owner, Mr. Birol GÜNEY, engaged with students in an interactive session, sharing knowledge and experiences. Discussions covered the company’s establishment, sectoral challenges, and success stories, providing students with insights into various scenarios they might encounter in the business world.

The technical visit offered students the chance to observe current industry developments firsthand and interact directly with sector professionals, enabling them to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Such activities help students take more confident steps into the professional world and make informed decisions regarding their career planning.
