We are living in a period in which global trade and financial systems are rapidly changing, and digitalization and sustainability are coming to the forefront. This transformation process increases the need for well-equipped individuals who can think analytically and possess an international perspective in the business world day by day. Educating competent individuals who can respond to these needs is the core mission of our Department of International Trade and Finance.

Our department aims to educate individuals who can adapt to the global competitive environment, integrate theoretical knowledge with practice, think multidimensionally, and possess strong foreign language skills. While we proudly experience graduating our first cohort this year, the success of our graduates—each equipped to make a difference in the sector—constitutes our greatest source of motivation and further strengthens the vision of our department.

Why should you choose the Department of International Trade and Finance?

Wide Career Opportunities:
Our graduates can work in national and international companies, logistics firms, banks and insurance companies, investment advisory firms, and in the fields of foreign trade and financial analysis. In the public sector, they may take positions in ministries, the central bank, regulatory authorities, and local trade organizations.

English-Supported Education:
In our department, one year of compulsory English preparatory education is provided, and 30% of the undergraduate program is delivered in English. In this way, our students graduate with the language proficiency required in the international business world.

7+1 Education Model:
After completing seven semesters of theoretical and applied courses at the university, our students spend one semester in the sector, gaining real work experience and making a difference after graduation.

Strategic Location:
Located close to Turkey’s major industrial and commercial centers such as Istanbul, Kocaeli, and Bursa, our university offers significant advantages to students in terms of internship and employment opportunities.

As the Department of International Trade and Finance, our aim is to educate individuals who can interpret changing global conditions, possess high financial literacy, and think analytically and strategically. We strive to equip our students not only with academic knowledge but also with the competencies that will enable them to be competitive in professional life.

We wish all our students a successful and fulfilling academic journey. We congratulate our prospective students in advance and believe that, together with you, we will achieve even greater successes.
