Senate Decisions for the 2022–2023 Spring Semester

  • Education and teaching for the 2022–2023 Spring Semester will be conducted online.

  • Course registration for the 2022–2023 Spring Semester will take place between February 20–26, 2023. Education and teaching will begin on Monday, February 27, 2023.

  • Students residing in and affected by the earthquake regions (Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa) will be granted the right to freeze their registration.

  • For students unable to renew their registration within the dates specified in the academic calendar due to the earthquake, the make-up registration period has been extended until the end of office hours on Friday, March 17, 2023.

  • Students registered at universities in the earthquake region may be admitted to our university as Special Students, provided that they request it and their home university grants permission.

  • Midterm exams and assignment processes will be conducted online.

  • The practical parts of courses will be reassessed depending on the normalization of the process.

  • Students attending the “Vocational Training in the Workplace” course may continue their workplace practice at desired locations, provided that the workplace meets the required conditions.

  • School Experience and Teaching Practice courses will be conducted by the relevant faculty in accordance with the schedule and method determined by the Ministry of National Education and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
