Participation in the SUBÜ Corporate Transformation Planning Workshop

The “Corporate Transformation Planning Workshop” was organized by the Quality Commission of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ). The workshop aimed to prepare the university for the future and enhance agile management capabilities by considering changes in the higher education ecosystem, global trends, national goals, and stakeholder expectations. The opinions and findings of SUBÜ’s internal and external stakeholders were evaluated during the event.

The two-day workshop, attended by 60 participants, gathered expert insights in areas such as Change Management, Leadership, Governance and Quality, Information and Technology Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Applied R&D (Thematic Table), and Applied Education (Thematic Table). Each area’s current status, along with participant suggestions and recommendations, was assessed.

Our Faculty Vice Dean Assoc. Dr. Sinan ESEN moderated the Change Management table, with our faculty members Assoc. Dr. Kenan GÖÇER, Assoc. Dr. Nermin AKYEL, and Assoc. Dr. Mehmet BAĞIŞ contributing to this area. Vice Dean Assoc. Dr. Selma KILIÇ KIRILMAZ contributed to the Leadership, Governance and Quality, and Information and Technology Management table.

The workshop concluded with a closing speech by Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık, the presentation of the final declaration, and the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the participants.
