In collaboration with SUBU’s Faculty of Applied Sciences, the Environmental and Natural Assets Conservation Community, and the Kaynarca District Youth Center, an event titled 100,000 Steps for the 100th Anniversary of the Republic was organized.
Supported by the Kaynarca District Youth Center, the Environmental and Natural Assets Conservation Community of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences’ Faculty of Applied Sciences completed 100,000 steps at Acarlar Longozu and Maden Creek in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Republic. The centennial celebration was embraced with great excitement and enthusiasm by university students.
The walk was attended by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Lecturer of the International Trade and Logistics Department, Assoc. Prof. Selma KILIÇ KIRILMAZ, Kaynarca District Youth Center Youth Leader Serdar KARAASLAN, and faculty students. Following the event, Karasu Municipality offered desserts and tea to the students.
