The “Expanding AI-Supported Women’s Entrepreneurship” project, prepared by the Young Development and Entrepreneurship Association and carried out in partnership with Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, has been launched with the support of the Ministry of Interior’s Directorate General for Relations with Civil Society.

Within the project, 30 entrepreneurial women received the “AI-Supported Entrepreneurship Trainer Training” in partnership with Sakarya University of Applied Sciences. The training sessions, held on May 16-17, were conducted over two days by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selma Kılıç Kırılmaz, Research Assistant Gökhan Atalı, and Lecturer İlknur Çakar, covering various themes and focusing on practical applications. By the end of the project, it is expected that the trainings will reach at least 6,000 women entrepreneurs in Sakarya through the outreach activities of the 30 trained participants.

The project aims to strengthen women’s entrepreneurship, increase societal welfare, and contribute to the development of Sakarya. The recent rise of AI-supported entrepreneurial initiatives and the improvements in efficiency have made this project particularly significant.

The main objective of the project is to empower women who wish to become entrepreneurs by teaching them AI-supported applications, enabling them to keep up with global developments and advance in the field of entrepreneurship. By prioritizing women’s entrepreneurship, our country and province lead societal development while also supporting the growth of civil society.

The project targets a wide audience, including entrepreneurial women, women interested in entrepreneurship, women working in the private sector, women active in civil society, women with disabilities, migrant women, young women (from universities and youth centers), women working in the public sector who want to engage in entrepreneurship, and women involved in cooperatives who wish to improve their technological skills.
