A seminar introducing Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) projects was held at our faculty with presentations by Bünyamin Göl and Veli Esen from the Sakarya Governorship’s European Union and External Relations Office.
During the seminar, information was provided about EU programs, Erasmus+ Youth, Higher Education, and other EU opportunities. In the second part of the program, two students who previously went to Germany through Erasmus+ and our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Selma Kılıç Kırılmaz shared their own experiences. Our students had the chance to listen to individuals who studied abroad and communicated with different cultures.
At the end of the event, a Kahoot competition was held. Arif Barış Özcan, a 3rd-year International Trade and Logistics student who won the competition, earned the right to participate in an Erasmus+ project that will take place in Europe in the coming months.
This seminar not only provided students with deeper insight into Erasmus+ and ESC projects but also motivated them to take advantage of study-abroad opportunities.
