We have begun developing English course content for our students focusing on Focus on Form / Focus on Forms.

As part of Dr. Öğr. Üyesi İsmail Gürler’s postdoctoral research under TÜBİTAK 2219, conducted in collaboration with the Second Language Acquisition Department at Indiana University, USA, efforts have been initiated to design course content specifically for students at our faculty. A detailed needs analysis will serve as the first step of this process.

On Thursday, February 13, 2025, an online introductory and planning meeting was held with our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Sinan Esen, Head of the International Trade and Finance Department Doç. Dr. Metin Saygılı, Deputy Head Doç. Dr. Zafer Adıgüzel, and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi İsmail Gürler, who is conducting related studies in the USA.

Based on the analysis results, the developed course content will be integrated into the curriculum, taking into account students’ needs and individual learning characteristics.
