At our faculty, a fire safety training and drill was conducted in collaboration with our University’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Unit and the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department.

During the event, Fire Instructor Mehmet Enes Sezen from SBB Fire Department delivered a comprehensive lecture covering fire types, proper use of fire extinguishers, preventive measures, actions during a fire, and post-fire response procedures.

Following the lecture, an applied fire drill was carried out with the participation of academic and administrative staff as well as students. Participants had the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and gain hands-on experience with fire-fighting equipment.
