The Logistics and Supply Chain Management course, conducted in our faculty’s International Trade and Logistics and International Trade and Finance programs, concluded with an industry visit. During the final week of the course, students had the opportunity to meet the business world on-site and observe practical applications firsthand.

Accompanied by Course Coordinator Prof. Dr. Sinan Esen and Teaching Assistant Researcher Çağdaş Ateş, students visited the facilities of FGİ Kapı ve Yükleme Teknolojileri A.Ş. in Sakarya. During the visit, students examined the company’s production lines, products, and processes up close.

At the beginning of the visit, FGİ Kapı ve Yükleme Teknolojileri A.Ş. Chairman Günay Güneş provided students with general information about the company. Accompanying him were the company’s Eskişehir Regional Sales Manager and After-Sales Services Department specialists, who shared detailed insights into both sales processes and after-sales services.

Following this, Barbaros Aba, Chairman of the Warehouse Management Association, delivered a comprehensive presentation on global developments and emerging trends in the logistics sector. Association board members Recep Koca and Ayşe Arar Kurt engaged with the students individually, sharing their experiences and answering questions.

This industry meeting, conducted in a highly productive and friendly atmosphere, provided students with a valuable opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical experience.

As the Faculty of Applied Sciences, we extend our sincere thanks to FGİ Kapı ve Yükleme Teknolojileri A.Ş.
